STORYBOARDS

During my freshmen year of undergraduate school, I learned to use Adobe Illustrator. Adobe quickly became my best friend. I wanted to spend hours in front of my computer working on a new project. It wasn't easy to learn at first, but with practice I began to love Illustrator. Below are a few of my favorite projects that I completed at Appalachian State University for class projects and a few projects I completed because I felt inspired.

Summer in Europe

My first storyboard, to the left, was inspired by summer fashion in Europe. After studying styles and dreaming of a summer in Europe, I used Illustrator to create this board. I chose colors based on summer 2019 color trends and created my own patterns, using Illustrator. I used handbags that I created to display my color palette.

Streets of Prague

During my summer abroad in Prague, Czech Republic, I studied closely with local Czech fashion designers and boutique owners. To the left is the final project for my time studying abroad, using the deliverables that I completed throughout my study abroad experience. The slides, navy pattern, and knit top where inspired by the culture and streets of Prague.

My best friend, Adobe Illustrator

Below are more project I created using Adobe Illustrator. I took careful consideration of color, shapes, and styles. Also, a few designs shows the fabric type that I consider to be the best for my designs based on the fall of the fabric and the hand.

For the storyboard exhibited on the right, I used Adobe Illustrator. This storyboard was inspired by my mood board here. This storyboard contains pre-winter/ autumn fashion trends and patterns seen in the city in 2018. There are knee-high boots, plaid, and animal print.
