FLATS

First Flat Drawings

For this assignment on the left, we had to draw three different styles of clothing as flats. This was my first time drawing flats and I learned to include stitches, fabrics, and buttons. This was a good start to drawing garments; my favorite is the very first skirt.

Garments

This was one of my favorite assignments of the class. We could use almost any media we wanted to, including colored pencils or markers. Since I don't like to use color pencils I chose to use Prismacolor markers. I created three different garments and attempted to do different textures. For the blue and brown dress, I was nervous about doing the blue over top of the brown, but it ended up working out well.
