About

Tara Dowdle is an apparel designer with multidisciplinary education. She recently completed her graduate studies and is eager to pursue a career in the apparel industry.

 

She earned dual Masters degrees in Global Luxury and Management. One is a Masters of Management from North Carolina State University Poole College of Management (Raleigh, NC). The second is a Masters of Science in Global Luxury from SKEMA Business School (Paris, France). Through her studies, she had the opportunity to gain a global perspective of the luxury industry in the three different luxury sectors which are personal, experiential, and transportation. She also gained and utilized knowledge of marketing strategies, negotiation, communication, and more.

Prior to graduate school, she received a Bachelors of Science in Apparel Design and Merchandising and a minor in Marketing from Appalachian State University. Here she learned creative thinking process and garment construction process along with skills to excel in the apparel industry.
